epTools is a clinical decision-support and reference application for cardiac electrophysiology. This policy explains how epTools version 3.13 handles your information.
In short: epTools 3.13 does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
1 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect nothing. epTools 3.13 does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. The app does not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, contacts, photos, or any health or patient information.
2 INFORMATION YOU ENTER
epTools includes clinical calculators and decision algorithms — for example, renal-function estimation and risk-score tools. Any values you enter are used only to produce a result and are processed entirely on your device. They are not transmitted to us or to any third party.
No patient-identifiable information is required to use the app, and you should not enter any.
3 ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
epTools 3.13 does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising components, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
4 NETWORK USE
epTools 3.13 and Magnet Master 1.02 function entirely on your device. It does not transmit any personal or clinical information over the internet, and it sends no data to any server operated by us.
5 THE APPLE APP STORE
epTools and Magnet Master are distributed through the Apple App Store. Any download or purchase is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy, and Apple may collect information in connection with your use of the App Store. We receive only aggregated, anonymized sales and download reports from Apple, which do not identify you.
6 CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
epTools and Magnet Master are intended for use by healthcare professionals and is not directed to children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
7 DATA SECURITY
Because epTools and Magnet Master store no personal information on our servers and transmits none off your device, there is no personal data held by us to secure or to be exposed in a breach. Any information on your device is protected by your device's own security features.
8 CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a revised effective date, and material changes may also be noted in the app's release notes.
9 GOVERNING LAW
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
